March 10 – April 2, 2023 at Riverside Theatre
Revolutions start when women come together. This seminal play of the 20th century explores feminism and sexuality through the intimate lives of eight New England women in the 1930s. In a unique twist, the central act of the play will be presented “promenade” style to take full advantage of the flexibility of Riverside’s new downtown home.
We invite you to join us as we Celebrando Fornés, an initiative from the Fornés Institute.
Audience Note: In Part 2, as intended by the author, the audience will leave their assigned seats and be ushered to nearby locations within the theatre to experience four separate scenes in smaller groups. Each space will be seated and ADA accessible. House staff will be available to assist patrons at all locations. Audiences will return to their assigned seats for the conclusion of the play.
