BOOK CLUB & LECTURE SERIES
Riverside Theatre’s Book Club unites theatre and book lovers through popular fiction/non-fiction books that connect to the work produced on our stages. This season’s book, Shakespeare in a Divided America, written by James S. Shapiro, examines America’s historical political upheaval through the lens of one of one of Riverside’s favorite playwrights: Shakespeare.
Riverdog Members are invited to join us for one (or more) of these exciting behind-the-scene looks at the key moments in taking a Riverside production gets from the page to the stage. Those in attendance for each of the open-rehearsals will get to sit in on a key moment in the rehearsal process and will then gather briefly to debrief and discuss with Riverside’s Education Coordinator Kathleen Johnson.
